Assigning Team Members

Another key feature of a Trello card is the ability to assign team members to the task. After assigning team members to a card, the respective team member will have their initials displayed on the overview of the card. This quickly shows which team members are working on what tasks. When it comes to creating a Trello board for an in-class assignment, assigning team members to tasks is the most important step in ensuring that the work gets done evenly. It is advised that the group agrees upon who will do which tasks to ensure that a consensus is reached for what is fair. If a due-date is assigned to the task the member assigned to the task can link the Trello board to their Outlook or Gmail account. If this is done, the user will then have a calendar created that has all of the tasks and their respective due dates.
